GUIDELINES FOR CONTENT SUBMISSION

In order to increase the chances of acceptance, there is a certain set of rules and instructions being provided here. Properly organized and formatted content is likely to be published. One should also be aware of what and what NOT to submit.

1.      Be Original: Write in your own and in few words. Be ethical. Do not copy paste.
2.      Structure of Article: Title or tagline of the article should be catchy. Creating a tailored article is quite a sensible deed as the writer conceive an idea and plot its structure. Your article should be organized with a proper flow of information.
3.      Easy To Read: It is very essential for the writer to write the article in easy words. Make smart moves and have the reader with you till bottom. Short paragraphs and precise sentences keep the audience engaged.
4.      Assure Crisp and Visibility: When elaborating the topic in points, apply bullets or numbers. Visual aids in between the text catches the eye of reader. In an article with 500 words, use at least one graphic design. Images must be relevant and should not contain any logo or watermark etc. Insert 3-5 images in an article having 500-800 words.
5.      Categories of Content
(i)                 History (with authentic and credible literature source)
(ii)               Science Corner (Technology News/Updates)
(iii)             Humor by Seasoned Humorists like Patras Bukhari, Dr. Younas Butt, Anwar Maqsood etc (with book reference)
(iv)             CyBrigade Activities (Top trend with its purpose, Current Updates on Official Accounts and Channel, Competitions with results: Soldier of the Month, Caption of the Month, and Cyber Commander of the Month etc).
(v)               News/Updates of Activities and Achievements by members of Positive Pakistan (YIF, YRC, Hiking and other Calendar events by Positive Pakistan)
(vi)             Social Issues/Current Affairs
(vii)           Interview of Intellectual Personalities (Discussion with Editorial Committee prior to interview is mandatory)
(viii)         Poetry (English & Urdu)
(ix)             Articles on Entrepreneurship
(x)               Articles on soft skills e.g. Leadership, Time management, Anger management, Relationship management
(xi)             Book Reviews
(xii)           Days of Social, Religious, Geopolitical, Global and Historical Significance like International Book Day, Labor Day, Kashmir Day etc.

Important Note: If you want to write an article on any important day, then kindly submit it 15 days prior to the day. Mention that specific day and date in Email Subject so that it should be processed accordingly.

 6.      Font and Format
a)       File: MS Word
b)  File Name: Author Name_Article Title (e.g: Iftkhar Ahmed_ Guidelines for Content Submission)
c)  Images: as separate file: JPEG format. Name the image file as Author Name_Article Title_Number (e.g: Iftkhar Ahmed_ Guidelines for Content Submission_1). Here number means count of images.
d)       Normal margins: 1 inch
e)       Writing style: Times New Roman
f)        Color: Black
g)       Paragraphing: Double-space
h)       Font Size: 12
i)         Length: 500 – 800 words
7.      Submission Process
Email the file(s) to your respective Content Coordinator. Attach separate MS Word and JPEG files properly named.

8.      Potential Rejection Reasons
Following are the reasons for which your article can be rejected:
a)       Articles/content against the Ideology of Pakistan and mission of Positive Pakistan
b)       Violation of format and related guidelines mentioned above
c)       Grammatical and vocabulary errors
d)       Religious and sectarian conflict
e)        If any kind of Racism or Sarcasm is shown
f)        Gender violent & gender sensitive content
g)       Any other potential reason that editorial committee recognizes as rejection
Make sure your Article should be neatly written and follow the rules properly.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We are receiving content from different cities and many content writers. It passes through certain buffering actions and processing. Finally, it is queued for publication. So be patient and wait for your turn. Don't contact to any editorial team member for at least one week after submitting your content. To pursue any submission, reply to the same email you already sent for content submission. Contacting via phone/call or IM is discouraged.
