The significance of Career Counseling

Do young students nowadays come across a difficult situation after completing their studies about what to do next? This happens to those students who are not aware of what’s happening in the job market and work trends. To avoid wastage of time in the job hunt and choose an appropriate field, career counseling plays a very important role.  It helps an individual to make an informed decision about his future. Counseling is the process of providing guidance and helping a person regarding any issue being faced by him/her.  People who have to pursue a good career, need assistance in choosing what’s best suitable for them according to their capabilities. Career counseling helps them identify their potential and choose a profession which best matches their skills and desire. It plays a vital role in giving the right direction to the young students who are confused or uninformed about their future goals. The need to consult career counselors arise when students issues in choosing the right college, university, courses or employment opportunities.

Today, we see how different job opportunities have emerged that did not exist in the past. Nobody wants to live a monotonous life, struggling for making money by adopting the same old and tiring professions. New ways that are comparatively easier as well as are more economically beneficial have been paved in this new transforming world. But the sad part is that our young generation is not aware of these new trends and even our elders cannot provide us the right guidance as their minds are still stuck into old thinking. Thus, career counseling is very important for young people to know where they are headed. This makes them become more enthusiastic and motivated to work hard. In order to look for the correct job, a thorough understanding is required of what course to opt for while pursuing education. Students often make blunders in selecting which college or university to study and this blunder leads to the destruction of their future. One mistake can ruin the future of a young man. Therefore, it is necessary to know what matches your interests, aptitude, mindset, and personality.

But the question arises that how can we create awareness among young minds through career counseling? The first step starts with the role of parents. Parents should groom the child and allow him/her to think freely and choose a path. The second role is of the teachers to ask the students about their interests and guide them rightly. Then the role of government is also very important in setting up career counseling mechanisms. It should introduce youth development centers, training institutions, education and labor department where professionals can guide the young minds towards the accurate path.

💚سگریٹ پیتے لڑکے کو ابا جی نے منع کیا تو وہ ابا جی سے چھپ کے پینے لگا.....

میری کسی دوست سے کسی موضوع پہ بحث ہوئی تو اُس نے دلیل پہ قائل ہونے کے باوجود مجھے سٹیٹس سے hide کرنا شروع کردیا....😄  

لوگوں سے دوستی کر لیں...خالص ناصحانہ رویہ اس دور میں چِڑ اور بے زاری پیدا کرتا ہے بہتری نہیں!!

💚 سوشل میڈیا انسان کی شخصیت کا آئینہ دار تو ہو سکتا ہے مگر اس کی لائف سٹوری نہیں.....(ممکن ہے کسی نے اپنی مرضی کی رائے بنانا چاہی ہو 😋)

خوامخواہ اُلٹے مطلب نہ نکالا کریں!

💚 سب سے قیمتی چیز جو آپ کسی کو دے سکتے ہیں وہ وقت ہے......لوگوں کو وقت دیں....انسانوں کو موضوعات بنائیں!!

💚 ہر بات عقل کے ترازو میں تولنا ضروری نہیں....کبھی کبھی بےوقوفانہ باتیں اور حرکتیں بھی relax رہنے کے لیے ضروری ہوتی ہیں....انسان کے اندر کا بچہ  خوش ہوتا ہے.....خوشی کا مادی اور عقلی وجود ہونا ضروری نہیں!!

اپنا خیال رکھیں...بارش ہورہی ہے....موسم خوشگوار ہے....موڈ بھی اچھا ہونا چاہئیے....تازہ نکھرا دھنک جیسا.....

اللّٰہ پاک آپ کی زندگی سے مسائل کے گہرے بادل دور لے جائے...

ایک زود اثر کاسمیٹک

فیس بک کی دیوار پہ چسپاں ایک تصویر نظر سے گزری جس میں ایک پٹی بندھا پاؤں احباب سے دعاوں کی درخواست کررہا تھا....

یاد نہیں محترم تھے یا محترمہ....مگر بہت سے "دردِ دل" رکھنے والے ہمدرد بہن بھائیوں نے دعاؤں کی بوچھاڑ کرتے ہوئے پیر پہ بندھی پٹی کے خدو خال پہ بھی اظہارِ خیال کیا....🤔

دیوار چونکہ دیوارِ چین کو بھی مات دیتی ہے سو چسپاں اشتہاروں کی بھی بھرمار نظر آتی ہے....

کچھ آگے چلے تو ایک پوسٹ ملی جس پہ ایک دکھی محترمہ 49 دوسرے لوگوں کے ساتھ مل کر "بروکن" یا شاید "disappoint" محسوس کررہی تھیں...لیکن جونہی ہمدرد تسلی دینے کو پوچھتے کیا ہوا...تو نزاکت سے کہہ دیا جاتا..."نتھنگ سپیشل"......🤔

اسی طرح کی بیشتر تحریریں اور تصویریں دیکھنے کو ملتی رہتی ہیں جن میں اپنے غم کے بھرپور اظہار کے بعد لکھا ہوتا ہے...."اپنا غم کسی کے سامنے نہ بیان کرو...لوگ تو گرے ہوئے مکان کی اینٹیں تک اُٹھا لے جاتے ہیں"

حالانکہ ہم اس سے متفق نہیں کہ لوگ اتنے فارغ ہوں کہ چند اینٹیں اٹھانے آپ کے گرے مکان پہ تشریف لائیں....

مفتی نے کہا تھا "دکھ ایک زود اثر کاسمیٹک ہے"..... ہاں ہے....مگر ایسا کاسمیٹک جو آپ کو خوبصورت بناتا ہے نہ کہ پیسٹری.....

غم اظہار کا توجہ کا محتاج ضرور ہے مگر اُسے نمائش کے لیے سرِ بازار مت سجائیں....ورنہ آپ اپنی حیثیت کھو دیں گے....مخلوقِ خدا کی نظر میں بھی اور خدا کی بھی...دنیا کے میلے میں آنسوؤں کا کوئی کاروبار نہیں...("دیوداس" کے پروڈیوسر میری اس بات سے اختلاف کرسکتے ہیں....😄)

خوشی بانٹیں....خوش رہیں...اور غم کو ظرف اور وقار کے ساتھ جھیلیں....

لوگوں کو سپیس (space) دیں....

کچھ عرصہ پہلے ہماری ایک نئی روم میٹ آئیں.....ہم اُن سے خوش دلی سے ملے....کھانے پینے کا پوچھا اور تھوڑی گپ شپ کے بعد چھت پہ کپڑے دھونے کو روانہ ہوئے 😋.....

ایک گھنٹے بعد واپس آئے تو کیا دیکھتے ہیں کہ 2 گھنٹے پہلے آئی ہماری نئی روم میٹ ہمارے تکیے پہ نیم دراز انتہائی بے تکلفی سے ہمارا لیپ ٹاپ کھولے محویت سے کوئی انڈین ڈرامہ دیکھ رہی ہیں.....😳

ہمیں یہ دیکھ کر حیرت کا جھٹکا لگا...ُان سے مسکراتے ہوئے لیپ ٹاپ کا تقاضا کیا تو بولیں: کیوں کوئی کام کرنا ہے کیا ابھی.....

🤔🤔🤔

اور ہم یوں دیکھنے لگے گویا ہم نے اُن کا گردہ مانگ لیا ہو..

..بحرحال انتہائی تردد سے لیپ ٹاپ ہمیں تھماتے ہوئے یہ تاکید کی گئی کہ صبح سکول جاتے ہوئے ہم یہ ان کے حوالے کر جائیں....😄😄😄

خیر بات سنانے کا مقصد یہ تھا کہ ایک چیز ہوتی ہے "پرسنل سپیس"....(پتہ نہیں اردو میں اس کے لیے کیا اصطلاح استعمال ہوتی ہے).....ہر رشتہ ہر تعلق خواہ وہ کتنا ہی قریبی کیوں نہ ہو اُس میں ایک دوسرے پہ اپنے احکامات لاگو کر کے اور غیر ضروری مداخلت سے تعلق دیر پا نہیں بنائے جاسکتے.....

ہر انسان کا ایک اپنا مزاج ہے اور طبیعت, ذہنی کیفیت یا حالات کے مطابق الگ الگ موڈ بھی....خوشی میں ہم بہت سی باتیں نظرانداز کر جاتے ہیں...غصے میں ذرا سی بات بھی دل پہ لگتی ہے....پریشانی میں کسی بات پہ مسکرانے کا جی نہیں چاہتا.....ہر وقت ہم ایک دوسرے کی ہر بات ماننے کے لیے خود کو منا نہیں پاتے.....سو ایک دوسرے کے مزاج کو تحمل سے برداشت کرنا سیکھیں.....لوگوں کو سپیس (space) دیں....

ہر وقت ہر بات منوانا...مسلط کرنا....بغیر مانگے غیر ضروری مشورہ دینا.....کسی کو زبردستی کوئی کام کرنے پہ مجبور کرنا...انتہائی نامناسب رویہ ہے.....جو ہمیں ایک دوسرے سے بے زار بھی کرسکتا ہے!!

ایک دوسرے کا خیال رکھیں...اور اپنا بھی...!!❣

Does the modern world need libraries?

“The only thing that you absolutely have to know is the location of the library”, Albert Einstein.

It is predicted that the digital age will soon wipe all bookshelves clean and will lead to end up the era of libraries. With the advent of modern technology and our hands addicted to cell phones, the future of libraries seems to become obsolete. But not everything is available on the internet and one cannot rely completely on the facts extracted from online sources. All the information present on the web is not authentic. While the data found in libraries have been published under strict guidelines of accuracy and are thereby allowed into libraries' collections. These standards are not imposed on all websites. Also, many academic research papers, journals, and other important materials are not free of cost and their access is restricted to expensive subscription accounts, which are mostly paid by college or university libraries. Therefore, libraries provide easy access to these materials. Thus, libraries still are of great significance for the progress and development of a society. They are a storehouse of immeasurable information. Marcus Tullius Cicero once said, “If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.” Libraries are a blessing for those people who have a strong desire for reading but have no money to satisfy their urge. They are an important foundation of a healthy community. They provide access to a vast ocean of knowledge. The library is the right place for quenching the drive for knowledge. They help to educate people and offer countless learning opportunities that refine social, cultural and economic development by providing access to knowledge, learning, and ideas. The same information is obtained from an electronic device, diverts one’s attention from the desired area of focus, resulting in the lack of ability to pay attention and lack of interest. The world we live in is full of distractions in every corner. Our smartphones, laptops, etc. distract us through social media apps, games, text messaging, and music. As a result, it is harder to resist these distractions and focus on studying. Most importantly, one cannot simply sit down, open a phone or laptop and start studying unless the study environment is not conducive to getting work done. Having a study environment is necessary, where you can concentrate, which is best provided inside a library. Several studies have indicated that reading or studying in a noisy place often disrupts people’s concentration, affecting their mental health by increasing general stress levels. Libraries provide a quiet and peaceful surrounding for people where they can concentrate without getting disturbed. The environment of a library where every individual is up to some productive work encourages others to work hard which a digital device cannot do. One of the most important functions of libraries is to preserve our culture for future generations. Libraries are rich sources of historical and cultural collections, many of which are not available anywhere else in the world. Moreover, modern technology is not accessible to all people. A person with average means cannot purchase expensive books. Hence, the library gives access to a variety of books in a small amount of membership fee. Thus, more libraries should be made available for people who cannot afford other means of gathering information.

After analyzing the importance of libraries, we see a clear need in society to maintain an institution for collecting and organizing information and offering general access to it. The government needs to establish more libraries, having good infrastructure, high-quality content and modern technology in order to attract people. As it is said that you don’t have to burn the books to destroy a culture, just get people to stop reading them. In the complex contemporary world, libraries address various demands of society. Libraries play a very healthy role in grooming the society. It provides a disciplined atmosphere where everything is systematic. I conclude with the words of Carl Rowan, “The library is the temple of learning, and learning has liberated more people than all the wars in history”.

دوستوں کا گروپ بیھٹا گپ شپ کر رہا تھا کب سے یوں ہی ادھر اُدھر کی باتیں چھڑی ہوئی تھیں، اب تو سب باتیں کر کر کے تھک سے بھی گئے تھے اتنے میں ایک بولی چلو بہت ہو گئی باتیں اب کچھ نیا کرتے ہی.... سب پوچھنے لگیں.. ہاں بتاؤ کیا کیا؟ وہ ایک بولی اب ہم گانے لگا کے سنتے اور انجوائے کرتے ہیں سب اس آئیڈیا پر خوش ہو گئیں.. مگر وہاں پر ہی حاعفہ بھی بیھٹی تھی جو اس فیصلہ سے کچھ خائف سی ہو گئی کہنے لگی آپ لوگ آئیڈیا بدل لو مجھے گانے سننا نہیں پسند۔
سب بہت حیران ہو کے دیکھنے لگیں اس میں کیا ہے یار کچھ نہیں ہوتا ہم تو سنیں گے... حاعفہ نے بات بنتی نہ دیکھی تو وہاں سے اٹھ کر چل پڑی کہ میں مزید آپ لوگوں کے ساتھ محفل میں شریک نہیں ہو سکتی... سب اس کو عجیب عجیب نظروں سے دیکھنے لگیں اور پھر اپنی ہی مستی میں مصروف ہو گئیں...
کچھ دن بعد پھر دوستوں کا تفریح کے لئے فنکشن میں جانے کا پروگرام بن گیا جہاں پر ناچ گانے وغیرہ کا انتظام کیا گیا تھا اب سب جو جا رہی تھیں تو حاعفہ بھی انکے گروپ کا حصہ ہے.. اسے بھی سب کہنے لگیں چلو ہمارے ساتھ مگر وہ انکار کیے گئی.. نہیں میں نہیں جا سکتی وہاں گانوں کی محفل ہو گی اور مجھے گانے سننا نہیں پسند سب دوستوں کو غصہ آ گیا کہ کم از کم ہماری خاطر ہی ساتھ آ جاؤ...
حاعفہ بولی اگر ایسا ہی ہے تو آپ لوگ بھی میری خاطر ہی مت جاؤ اس محفل میں، مگر وہ تو ارادہ باندھ چکی تھیں کہاں رکنے والی تھیں اور حاعفہ کو اکیلا چھوڑ کر چلی گئیں...

رات کو واپسی پر سب حاعفہ سے سخت ناراض تھیں کہ وہ ان کے ساتھ کیوں نہیں گئی۔ سب ایک ایک کر کے اپنے کمروں میں چلی گئیں مگر حیا وہیں رک گئی.. حاعفہ کے پاس....

حیا پوچھنے لگی حاعفہ کیوں کرتی ہو ایسا.. دیکھو سب کو ناراض کر دیا، تم کیوں نہیں ہمارے ساتھ چلتی ہو.. تمہیں گانوں سے کیا مسئلہ اس میں برائی ہی کیا ہے آخر؟

حاعفہ: دیکھو حیا میں پہلے ہی بتا چکی ہوں کہ گناہ ہوتا گانے سننے سے اس لیے میں نہیں سن سکتی

حیا: کیا گناہ ہوتا ہے؟

حاعفہ: میں تمہیں آج کچھ وجوہات بتاتی ہوں، جنکی وجہ سے میں گانے سننا نہیں پسند کرتی..

میں گانے اس لئے نہیں سنتی کیونکہ میرے اللّٰہ کو نہیں پسند ایسی موسیقی سننا جو آپ کو مدہوش کر دے یا نشہ سا ڈال دے اور گانے سنتے ہوئے ہماری کیفیت ایسے ہی ہو جاتی نا؟

حیا: (ہاں میں سر ہلایا)

حاعفہ: تو مجھے گانے سننا اس لئے نہیں پسند کہ جو چیز میرے اللہ کو نہیں پسند میں وہ کیسے کر سکتی پسند؟

مجھے گانے سننا اس لئے بھی نہیں پسند کیوں کہ مجھے تلاوت اور نعت سننا پسند ہے.. تو دیکھو نا میں اپنے کانوں کو کیسے گوارا ہونے دیتی کہ وہ ایک بار اللہ کا پسندیدہ کلام سنیں قرآن اور پھر ان ہی کانوں میں موسیقی کی آواز بھی جائے!!!

نہیں مجھے اپنے کانوں کے ساتھ بھی یہ ظلم نہیں پسند میں انکو ایک ہی جگہ پابند رکھنا چاہتی تاکہ روز قیامت میری گواہی دے سکیں...

اور پتا تمہیں پتا سب سے بڑی وجہ کیا ہے نہ سننے کی؟

حیا: کیا؟

حاعفہ: روز قیامت حساب کتاب کے بعد میرا اللّٰہ اور بنی پاک صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم اپنی آواز میں گانا سنائیں گے اور اتنی خوبصورت آواز ہو گی کہ ہر سننے والا اس میں مدہوش ہو جائے گا... مگر ان گانوں کی آواز ان کانوں میں نہ جا پائے گی جو دنیا میں گانے سنتے تھے اور ان لوگوں کے کانوں میں سیسا پگھلا کر ڈال دیا جائے گا..

لیکن مجھے اللّٰہ کی آواز میں سننے کا بہت شوق ہے نا اس لئے بھی میں اپنے کانوں کو دنیاوی گانوں سے محفوظ رکھنا چاہتی ہوں...

میں اللّٰہ اور اسکے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم کی آواز میں سننے کے لئے بے تاب ہوں....

بس یہی کچھ وجوہات ہیں حیا جو مجھے روکے ہوئے ہیں اسی لئے تم سب کو بھی ناراض کر دیتی ہوں لیکن میں یہ چاہتی ہوں آپ لوگ مجھ سے ناراض ہونے کے بجائے میرا ساتھ دو... دیکھو قرآن کریم سننے میں بہت لطف ہے جب دل کرے تو قرآن سن لیا کرو..

حیا: حاعفہ تم نے تو سچ میں میرے دل کی بند کھڑکی کھول دی مجھے نہیں معلوم تھا پہلے انشاءاللہ اب میں بھی نہیں سنوں گی اور سب کو بھی ہم دونوں منع کریں گے..

حاعفہ: ماشااللہ.. یہ ہوئی نا بات چلو اب سو جاتے ہیں پھر صبح جاگ کے ان سب کو بھی راضی کرنا ہے۔

حیا: ہاں چلو ٹھیک ہے.. اللّٰہ حافظ شب بخیر..

حاعفہ اب پُر سکون ہو گئی تھی اسکی ایک دوست تو اس کا ساتھ دینے پر راضی ہوئی امید ہے باقی بھی اب مان لیں گی انشاءاللہ...

آداب معاشرت

ہاسٹل میں جب میں نے پہلی بار  قرآن کلاس لی تو جو پہلی سورت ہمیں پڑھائی گئی وہ سورت حجرات تھی........💗

پھر لقمان...عنکبوت....اور پھر مزید.....

میرے ذہن میں سوال تھا کہ پہلے سپارے سے شروع کرنے کے بجائے ہم پہلے ان سورتوں کا مطالعہ کیوں کررہے ہیں...لیکن سورت مکمل کرنے کے بعد جواب خودبخود سامنے آگیا....

یہ چند سورتیں وہ سورتیں ہیں جن میں معاشرتی آداب اور حقوق العباد کے حوالے سے اہم اہم باتیں پوائنٹس میں بتائی گئی ہیں....

اور کسی بھی قرآن کے طالب علم کو سب سے پہلے یہی چیزیں سیکھنا ضروری ہیں....بحیثیت مسلمان...اور بحیثیت انسان بھی...کہ مسلمان وہی ہوتا ہے جو بہترین انسان بھی ہو....محض کلمہ گو نہ ہو...

بہرحال...بات ہورہی تھی میری پہلی سورت کی...."حجرات"....❤

سورة حجرات دو اہم نکات پہ مبنی ہے...

1- رسولِ پاک صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے محبت

2- ان سے محبت جو آپ صہ سے محبت کرتے ہیں...یعنی مسلمان

انہی دو نکات کے حوالے سے سورت میں 9 معاشرتی آداب بتائے گئے ہیں...

روزمرہ زندگی کے آداب (daily etiquettes) سکھانے والی سورتوں میں یہ بنیادی سورت ہے....❣

چھبیسویں پارے کی یہ سورت بہت چھوٹی سی ہے....2 رکوع اور اٹھارہ آیات پہ مشتمل....یعنی ایک نشست میں پڑھی جانے والی...💕

تو کسی نشست میں بیٹھیے اور دیکھیے کہ وہ 9 باتیں کونسی ہیں...جن کی وجہ سے اس سورت کو معاشرتی آداب کے سبق کے طور پہ پڑھایا جانا چاہئیے....❣

ٹیوشن چھُوٹی تو آج عرصے بعد ڈھلتی دوپہر میں کھلا آسمان دیکھنے کو ملا....

یار اچھی چیزیں ہیں یہ بھی....

نیلا...سیاہی مائل نیلا....ہلکا نیلا...اور کہیں کہیں سے سفید....اور وُسعت.....جہاں تک نظر کی حد ہے دیکھتے چلے جائیں....

کہیں کہیں ٹکڑیوں میں سفید دھنکی ہوئی روئی جیسے بادل... ❤

سورج...روشن...چمکدار.... سردیوں کی بھلی دھوپ جو ماں کے لمس کی طرح نرم اور شفیق اور تھپکی دینے والی  ہوتی ہے...💖

پنکھ کھولے اُڑتے پرندے...کہیں ٹکڑیوں میں کہیں ایک دو....بے فکر....بے نیاز....💕

سامنے مسجد کے مینار کے پیچھے سے جھانکتے پیڑوں میں سے ایک کم پتوں اور زیادہ شاخوں والا پیڑ....جس کی شاخیں خالی ہونے کے باوجود قدرت کا حسین آرٹ ورک لگ رہی ہیں...💗

بیک گراونڈ میں کہیں دور سے آتی ہوئی اذان کی دھیمی آواز.....💞

اور حتّیٰ کہ گلی کے آخر تک جانے والی اونچی نیچی چھتوں سے جڑی چھتیں بھی.....(کبھی کسی زمانے میں نانا جان کے گھر سے چھتیں پھلانگتے ہوئے گلی کے آخر تک کھیتوں کی طرف چلے جایا کرتے تھے....تب اظہر فراغ کی زبان میں...

دیواریں چھوٹی ہوتی تھیں لیکن پردہ ہوتا تھا)

بہت خوبصورت ہے یار یہ سب بھی...بند اے-سی والے سجے سجائے اور ہر سہولت سے آراستہ کمروں سے بھی زیادہ شاید....

اور سکرین کی دنیا سے باہر!

شام ڈھلتی تھی تو تایا جان کی چھت پہ روزانہ بلاناغہ نیلی پری پیلی پری، برف پانی، سٹاپو، کوکلا چھپاکی، مہمان مہمان، اور گڑیا کی شادی جیسے ڈھیروں کھیل کھیلتے تھے.....

ان ڈور گیمز سے زیادہ اچھے ہیں یار!!

قدرتی مناظر مصنوعی سے زیادہ خوبصورت ہیں....

کبھی کبھی سکرین کی دنیا...بند فرنشڈ کمروں...اور "سوفیسٹیکیٹڈ" (پیچیدہ) زندگی سے نکل کر باہر جھانکیں...اچھا لگے گا! 💝

Youth of Today

There is a wise old saying, “Who so neglects learning in his youth loses the past and is dead to the future”. One cannot deny the fact that youth is one of the most important assets of a country. It has the potential to play a key role in the development of a society. Pakistan is lucky in this sense, having the highest population of youth. Pakistan was created by the efforts of passionate and visionary leaders like Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who placed great importance on the role of youth. Quaid once said, “Pakistan is proud of its youth, particularly the students who have always been in the forefront in the hour of trial and need. Young people can build up a nation by innovative and creative ideas which directly benefit the people and ensures the progress of the society. They possess great enthusiasm and energy and if their potential is used in the right direction they can ensure rapid progress. They are social actors of change and progress. Their contribution, therefore, is highly needed for a country’s progress. Youth has the potential to change the future of society with their well-being and heroic behavior. They are a significant part of a nation’s development.

But the worrisome problem that we observe today, is the lack of youth participation in the development and progress of our country. The young generation of our state has forgotten their important role of lifting up their beloved country to the heights of success. Young generation today is more inclined towards self-advantage rather than pondering upon national interest. They see no difference between social and real life. We see our youth depressed and always complaining about the issues but no one steps up to find a solution for those issues. The youth of today has become rude and impatient, having no self-control. The world has transformed into a global village, connecting people and presenting huge amounts of information right at our fingertips. Technological advancements have enabled us to do things that were once thought to be impossible. But are we using it positively for the welfare of our community? We all know the answer, don’t we? Young people are too obsessed with their cell phones and use them merely for self and fun purpose. We are making the negative use of technology as it is limiting our human capacity and has made us depend on it too much. We have disregarded the fact that youth of a country should be filled with productive and towering ambitions.

But the youth alone cannot be blamed. They are not provided with the appropriate environment or platforms to polish their skills and prove their abilities. This adds to the ineffectiveness of young minds. There are significant obstacles which discourage community activeness among youth, for example not being taken seriously, not being asked, and lack of clarity about roles and responsibilities. Moreover, there is a lack of communication and awareness of opportunities among youth. Other reasons that harm youth development are lack of resources in our country, no quality education and standard curriculum across the country, less or no power is given to young people to initiate organizational change, prevailing unemployment and class distinctions preventing young people from lower-income backgrounds to interact with those from high-income backgrounds.

So what needs to be done? The government must take strong measures to save the future of young people. Good quality education should be the first priority of government. More job opportunities should be created for young people. Government and organizations need to reach out to young people in order to involve them in decision-making processes and constructive dialogues. This way youth can use its potential in the right direction rather than exploiting its qualities and energy. Moreover, there is a dire need for proper mentoring so that they are brought into community organizations and civic roles. This will allow them to participate in local decision-making at multiple levels and will lead to skill enhancement, confidence building and developing leadership qualities. We need to create more awareness about the potential among young people have and ensure that their views are included in national policy discussions.

Also what is needed is that young people should stand together and get actively involved in social issues as patriotic citizens. They must play their role in promoting national integration and development. As it is said, “Give the youth a proper environment. Motivate them. Extend the support they need. Each one of them has an infinite source of energy. They will deliver”.

شکریہ کشمیر! تم نے ہمیں چھٹی کا ایک اور دن عنایت کیا....

روزمرہ کی روٹین سے ہم تنگ آچکے تھے....آج سیر و تفریح کے لیے مووی دیکھنے جانے کا پلان تھا مگر یہ ریلیاں.....

پاگل لوگ...خوامخواہ سڑکوں پہ وقت ضائع کررہے ہیں...پرائے مسئلے میں ٹانگ اڑانے کا کیا فائدہ....

لو دیکھو....یہ کسی جگہ سیمینار بھی ہے کشمیر سے اظہارِ یکجہتی کا....یہ چند سرپھرے جو ابھی بھی کشمیر کے پروگرام کرتے پھررہے ہیں...

ان بےوقوفوں کی وجہ سے اب تک ہمارے بچوں کو کشمیر کا نام یاد ہے....

مگر سنو کشمیر! تم ان کی باتوں کو سیرئیس مت لینا...یہ بھلا کر ہی کیا سکتے ہیں...میں حقیقت پسند ہوں..تمہیں بتادوں کہ 5 فروری تو ریلیکسیشن کا اور نئی موویز دیکھنے کا دن ہوتا ہے....مگر یہ کم بخت کچھ لوگ ابھی بھی اس ضد پہ اڑے ہیں کہ تمہاری آزادی کی بات کریں گے....

بول کے لکھ کے... اور تو اور سٹیٹس لگا کے تمہارا ذکر چھیڑ دیتے ہیں تاکہ مسلمانوں کو یاد رہے کشمیر اپنی آزادی کی جنگ لڑرہا ہے اور کشمیر میں مسلمان رہتے ہیں...ہمارے جسم کا حصہ...

اب انہیں بھلا کون سمجھائے!!

Remembrance of Kashmir Day

Today day of those people 
Who are living but died 
Their wishes died in hearts
Their children died in very young age
They think for pleasure but can't achieve 
They want freedom but don't have 
Do you forget those ?
They are our Kashmiri people's 
Our soul mates part of our body 
Don't forget them let do something for them 
Let us speak but not only speak do something
Everyone called Kashmir is heaven
But I don't accept this 
How it can be heaven where's only shedding of bloods 
Where dead bodies of younger ,childr en 
Where sorrows fear crying of mother's 
No I don't accept Kashmir is heaven 
I wish to be Kashmir like heaven
Their mother's sisters daughters always afraid of losing their Dignity 
They are always afraid of losing their father brother children 
They are passing life full of fears afraid of losing what they have 
Their child can't grow as we are 
They can't enjoy their life's as we are 
They died at young 
How Kashmir can be heaven 
I want Kashmir like heaven
I will call Kashmir is heaven when they achieve freedom 
When they achieve life's as they want 
When their child grows up to as their life's 
When their mother's make dreams for their children
We will achieve this if we do something 
Allah Almighty I’m asking to you for this 
Give them freedom 
Oh my young generation I'm asking to you for this 
Let speaks for them 
Na not only speak do something for them 
They are ours make sure for them this 
They are our part let make them

Give them all what they want 
Why you forget about your part your Kashmir

ایک جملہ جو ہم سب بولتے ہیں....ایک بات جو سب کی زندگیوں کا روگ بنی ہوئی ہے....

*کیا کہیں گے لوگ*.....

کون لوگ؟؟؟

آپ....

جی ہاں آپ...جو پڑھ رہے ہیں!! 

میں...جو لکھ رہی ہوں....

ہم سب....ہمی تو ہیں وہ *لوگ* جن سے ہم تنگ ہیں....

ایک دوسرے کی زندگیوں میں بے جا مداخلت....نکتہ چینی....تجسس...غلط گمان....غیر ضروری تبصرے....

کہیں کسی اور سیارے سے نہیں آتی یہ "لوگ" نامی مخلوق....یہیں کی ہے....آپ اور میں....ہم سب....

پھر شکوہ کیسا اور شکایت کس سے....🤔

قرآن جو زندگی کی کتاب ہے....اپنے مخاطب کو صاف الفاظ میں سکھاتی ہے..."ولا تجسسو"....

(اور ٹوہ میں نہ رہو)

اور پھر....

"اجتنبو کثیرا من الظن. ان بعض الظن اثم"

بہت زیادہ گمان نہ کرو...کہ بعض گمان گناہ ہوتے ہیں.

(سورت حجرات)

یقین کیجیے اس مسئلے کا صرف اسی صورت سدِ باب کیا جاسکتا ہے...اگر ہم "کیا کہیں گے لوگ" کہتے ہوئے آئینے میں جھانک لیں!

آپ کی ایک غلط بیانی کسی کی زندگی بھر کی پریشانی بن سکتی ہے...آپ کا ایک بے تکا اندازہ کسی کو ہیرو سے ولن بنا سکتا ہے....آپ کا ایک غیر تصدیق شدہ جملہ بہتان بن سکتا ہے....

کسی بادشاہ کے دربار میں ایک درباری بھاگتا آیا اور بھرے دربار میں بولا...بادشاہ سلامت آپ کی بیٹی چلی گئی ہے...

بادشاہ نے سر جھکا لیا....

لوگ اٹھ کے چلے گئے تو جملہ مکمل ہوا...اپنے شوہر کے ساتھ...

مگر اب کیا....بھرے مجمع نے تو کچھ کا کچھ سنا...اور پھر خود سے نتیجہ بھی اخذ کر لیا....!!

بولیں...تو بولنے سے پہلے بات کو تول لیں...ورنہ بات آپ کو بے مول کردے گی!!

Spirit of Humanitarianism

Life is insignificant if we are solely considering our self. We are born, we live and we will die this is a cycle we all are following. We are given with life and we make it meaningful with our own perspectives. Humans exist to help each other. Life can be a better place if we share our love for others, share our happiness with them. It was the cold, icy winter midnight when they were sharing Blankets to the street beggars. A poor man, in a miserable condition, has no roof nor has an own place to take a rest in the bone floating winter. He did not have a warm cloth to cover up and lay on the roadside when the city sleeps in peace. The footpath is his house, begging is existence, mosquitoes and flies are family members. During the winter night, neither he could sleep nor could sit for the chilliness of weather. When they covered a warm blanket, he cried and prayed for them. They made a wonderful act of kindness, Human beings are like that...

 Humanity is the essence and core meaning of our existence as the human. It is the quality of being humane, benevolence or generous. Service to humanity is the desire to do great things or attempts to help the poor. The existence of humanity can be seen through this idea that Allah created all the souls from the descendants of Adam and Eve, all humans are one soul and regardless of caste, color, and creed, humans belong to one family. If we consider this concept of oneness, the world would be in peace. Humans are created as a roof and crown for the rest of the creation, so they are supposed to the kind of work the man expected to do. Islam demands the good privilege to help the underprivileged in competing for the needs of life.

 There is no hard and fast rule to become a lover of humanity. We can say this idea is embedded in our nature. One becomes a true humanist when he falls for other’s happiness. Being human does not mean one is possessing the element of humanity, rather it is to distinguish themselves from the rest with their kind approach towards another. Humanity is not about getting name, fame, nobility, that is what you can easily achieve it by doing anything, but humanity is about inner peace and satisfaction, by doing humanity, you feel a pinch from your inner soul, and that is the whole gist of your work. For Humanity, heart and mind go along, for instance; Jumping out of a car and giving a few pennies to the old Pomegranate seller is humanity.Thinking for your Maid as your daughter is humanity and listening to someone’s sad tale is humanity.

 Everyone wishes for his own happiness. Do things and plan them in s certain way to make his life more beautiful. We prefer to invest in a business and buying the smartphone, but not in feeding the hungry. We dream of wealth, we dream of happiness, but we could never step down and helping those who are in need. We can willingly be paying thousands of bucks for our self but when it comes to others, then we want to save every single penny. To go beyond one’s own self and work for other’s welfare and cause is called social service. Life is full of such wonderful personalities, who had suffered a lot at the expense of nothing but other’s happiness. They left the comfort of their lives and preferred to live for the adoration of others. Among them, Edhi and Ruth Pfau are most important. They are the charisma, who worked desperately in order to empower Pakistan to stand against all odds.  

Abdul Sattar Edhi following his slogan “no religion is higher than humanity”, set a powerful example of the title ‘lover of humanity’. Under Edhi's provision, thousands of Pakistani’s fed schooled and nursed each day, regardless of their religion, social class, and creed. Edhi says, “the basis of all religions is humanity”. Several babies left in the cradles outside Edhi centers and those babies are adopted and grown up in a home like an environment in the laps of kindhearted Edhi and his wife Balquis. In his whole life, he remained compassionate for needy and poor in all his best and even at his deathbed, he said to donate his eyes to a needy and his eyes become the source of vision for two blind people. This is how he wished, his legacy to be continued after his death.

 Ruth Pfau, known as Pakistan’s mother Teresa. She was a Philanthropist and champion of the poor masses. A selfless lady who devoted her entire life to the treatment of lepers who had been left disfigured and were rejected by society for the fear of being infected. In her life, she worked to serve the ailing. Her first encounter with lepers happened in beggar colony Karachi, where she witnessed the miserable condition of people afflicted with leprosy. She decided to remain the savior of leprosy patients.

 If God has made us human, there is the definite reason behind tithe sole meaning of life is to serve humanity. The mission of our life is to be the service of mankind and a source of comfort and ease. God has sent us for the welfare of another human. As the world is going through poverty, disease, and suffering, in order to avoid chaos, there is a need for well-being. One’s comfortability and happiness is the duty towards others. We are in debt to do this duty, when it goes beyond one’s duty, then comes humanity and love for human beings. It is Spiritual training which evaluates our mind. Individual life is successful on the basis of his humanitarian activities, although humanity gives nothing physical or materialist. It gives something more prior, such as inner happiness.
